Hi, I’m Christina Montes, the artist behind Studio Montes! You can call me Chris, Christina, or Montes. I’m a Colombian-American artist born and raised in Miami, Florida. I received my Bachelors of Fine Arts at the Savannah College of Art and Design where I studied Photography, Graphic Design, and Fibers/Textile Design. I enjoy challenging myself and expressing my creativity through illustration, design, photography, ceramics, crafts, and truly anything that I can get my hands on. With nature as my main inspiration, my color palettes and designs aim to capture and honor the endless gifts provided to us by Mother Nature. Other great things that inspire my work and bring me pure joy include making floral arrangements, traveling, exploring the outdoors, snuggling up with my dogs. My current work focuses on offering machine and occasionally hand poke tattoos on a full-time basis, as well as custom illustrations and select prints.
